Greetings from Baron Caieth Unto the Champions of  Wealdsmere!
 
Be it known, Good Lords and Ladies, that Wealdsmere Champions will  be held 
together with Celtic Revolt over the Memorial Day weekend, May  23-26.
 
The Baroness and I hereby adjure you who hold Championships to bethink what  
manner of competition you plan to hold.  If by sad chance you cannot  attend, 
please inform us of this immediately.
 
We encourage you to be as creative as possible as you design your  particular 
competition, each according to its kind.  For Championships that  will 
require preparation prior to the event, there is a time value to putting  forth your 
idea to us and to the populace.
 
We welcome any Newcomer who has never entered a contest to  do so at this 
event.  We will need Judges for Arts & Sciences as well  as Bardic; Judges will 
be chosen by the reigning Champions and  ourselves.
 
Current Baronial Champions are as follows:
 
 
    *   Archery: Hon. Lord Will Fletcher  
    *   Arts & Sciences: Hon. Lady Elaine de Parfondeval  
    *   Bardic: milady Lunah Mahirima  
    *   Rapier: milord Mowgli of Hillside  
    *   Heavy: Duke Sir Gunnarr Brunwolf
