Greetings Good Gentles!
Hopefully you are all excited about this weekends Defender of the Hart  
Championship! Please bare with us as we were unable to get the event information  ch
anged on the Kingdom list. If there is anyone you know who may not be aware 
of  the site change, please forward them this information. We would love to 
have a  great turn out for this event!
Here is a (not so brief) reminder of the days activities:
 
The site is  Winton Park
                 1507 Melrose
                 Coeur d Alene, Idaho
 
Site fee is $5.00 with no NMS
 
Gate opens @ 9:00 am
and closes  @ 10:00pm
 
Heavy Tourney starts @ 12noon
 
Rapier is unfortunately unknown at this time as we have been unable to get  
in touch with last years champion.  If this changes, information will be  
available at gate.
 
Archery will be going on all day. This will be Combat Archery rather than  
target archery. A.B.C. legal combat bows and arrows will be provided. Shots will 
 be made at Dummy targets and possibly armored volunteers for points.
 
Games will be going on all day. There will be regular chess, viking chess  
and at least two other period games for the competition. 
 
Arts and Sciences display will be happening all day. The request is that  you 
have two items to enter. One finished and one work in progress to show  
techniques. The entries need not be the same genre. Entries will be voted on a  
points basis.
 
Bardic Competition will take place during the feast/potluck. Performers  will 
be judged and points will be awarded by the populace.
 
Closing court will announce the winners!
 
Please bring a dish to share as follows by mundane last name:
A-I: Side  dish (ie salads, chips, pasta, rice, veggies)
J-Q: Bread item (Hamburger  buns, rolls, etc.)
R-Z: Dessert (keep in mind the weather)
