One additional note regarding attendance at SpoCon....

For any of you who might like to attend the convention (beyond just
participating int he demo), and are willing to a bit of heavy lifting and
such, there might be an opportunity for you to attend the entire convention
for a reduced rate if you are willing to help out the Operations Chair with
set-up and tear-down duties.

There are a lot of tables, equipment and such that need to be moved around
between buildings on campus (starting on Thursday 7/31), and everything
needs to get put back in its original place and configuration on Sunday
evening so that classes can begin on Monday morning.  There will also be
things needing to be moved to a separate holding area for later
transportation (and they will likely need help loading and off-loading that
stuff on Monday).

If you are interested in helping out, and getting a reduced rate for the
weekend (I believe it is an even better rate than us ConCom pay), please
contact Scott Spicer (SpoCon Operations & Logistics Chair) at
scott at spocon.us ASAP.

I don't know how many folks Scott still needs, so the sooner you can contact
him, them better :-)
