[Twnsqr] February Fever, March Madness

Greetings to the Noble Folk of Wealdsmere!
 
We have just returned from the disappointingly sodden and muddy lands of  
southern Atenveldt and Estrella War.  Despite rain and mud the consistency  of 
thick oatmeal, a good time was had by all, much revelry and glorious combat  was 
had and the people of our area returned home safely.  Vivat!
 
I wanted to remind you all that the Calendar for the Greater Wealdsmere  area 
is very busy over the next month and there are 3 great events 3 weekends in  
a row, all relatively close.  Of course, after the 27 hour trip down to  
Phoenix everything seems close!  Araviere and I will attend all of the  following, 
it would be great to see as many of you who can join us and support  the local 
SCA.
 
This Saturday, February 23, Fimbulvinter II will be held in Wallace,  Idaho.

The following Saturday, March 1, the Tourney of the Wolves will be held in  
Arden, Wa

The following Saturday, March 8, War in the Oasis will be held in Ephrata,  
Wa.

Then we might get a week or two off before April, when the zaniness resumes  
full force.
 
Araviere and I have been having a lot of fun diving into all things  Baronial 
in the last couple of months, we really hope to see you all at events  so we 
can enjoy your company.  We also would like to continue to solicit  Letters of 
Recommendation for both Baronial and Kingdom level awards.  TRM  will be at 
Oasis War, if you know anyone from our area who is deserving and will  be at 
that event, don't be shy!  All letters will be held in  confidence.
