Grimwithshire
Grim Offensive III
July 13-15, 2007

Come one, come all! It is time again for the mayhem and merriment fondly known as Grim Offensive. That's right, it's our third annual assault on our good neighbors of Dregate and we are inviting all of you to come and enjoy the fun.
We have changed the dates this year in order to avoid conflicting with local events, as well as little out of area gatherings like Pennsic. As always, we will have ample heavy fighting scenarios, an all comer's arts & sciences competition, and the ever popular Squire Olympics.

New this year, Grimwithshire will be conducting a competition in the style of the Trials of Brunwulf. This will be an ongoing series of trials and games, including archery, open to everyone. There will be medals for the top three finishers in each category, so bring your competitive spirit and have fun.

Arts & Science Competitions:
1)The Art of War 2)The Science of Peace 3)Mead 4)Cordials

Once again we have managed secure prime state forest land for our site. This means that, though very beautiful, it is quite primitive. Please be prepared and bring your own potable water and other essentials. Biffies will be on site, and some potable water in tanks.

Merchants and Amenities: Bring your coins for the Merchants! If you prefer not to camp, check out the amenities nearby.

We would like to extend a cordial invitation to all merchants. There will be ample room, so bring the good stuff, no merchant fee, (a donation for the prize chest is requested). For additional information, please contact the auto-crats as soon as possible to be advertised on our amenities page.

Site Information:
Sand Canyon Campground, Chewelah, WA. This is National Forest Service Land, no street address.

The bonus: Since our site is on National Forest lands with a 14 day stay limit, this means if someone does our event, they can stay camped right there until it's time to move over to the Coronation site. Those that do, stay can at their own risk. The SCA has reserved the site until the 15th, after that those that stay are responsible for their own actions. This makes camping from GrimOffensive until Coronation very reasonable.

Site Fees:
$12.00 for Adults, $5.00 for Children 6-12. 5 and under are free. Family cap of $40.00. Day fee is $7.00.
$3.00 non member surcharge in effect for this event. - Bring your blue membership card.
Please make checks payable to: "Barony of Wealdsmere, SCA Inc."

Minor Waivers:
Please provide all minors with the proper medical and consent forms:
Medical Authorization Form for Minors PDF 186K (3 copies)
Event Waiver Form for Minors PDF 186K (1 copy)
