Greetings Everyone,
Many individuals in our area shined this last weekend. Please correct me if I have any of this information wrong or have omitted something, but I wanted to send out this information to folks that may have not been able to attend.
Huzzah to Their Royal Majesties Tiernan and Miranda, Their Retinue (largely Ship's Crew) for an impressive display of arms during Their Coronation. King Tiernan once-upon-a-time was a member of Lyonsmarche. I am not sure if Queen Miranda hailed from the Inlands or not?
Also, to Duke Sven for being recognized as a Lion of An Tir, and Duchess Signy for her Augmentation of Arms. For those not aware of the significance, these awards are sparingly given and honored accordingly in An Tir.
In Sven and Signy's last court the Tribe was recognized by Sven and Signy before stepping down with a Throne's Favor. The honor stands upon its own, but I am not hesitant to add that to witness the proclomation and see the Tribe assembled for such a bold purpose made my heart swell.
Upon Saturday's field His Lordship Olfus recorded the greatest number of victories among the Squire's assembled. Inspired, no doubt, by his lady Halla and fueled by the good fellowship of his Inland friends.
It was a great joy to see Guy Grimsson, my own squire-brother, elevated to knighthood by King Tiernan and Queen Miranda. I am somewhat torn, because in Sir Guy I had a most excellent squire-brother and now he is lost to me in that role. However, I am confident that as a member of the chivalry his service to An Tir will mark heights beyond what before has been reached. The Inlands is blessed with many a colorful knights with unique habits and personalities. It is good to see yet another color added to that spurred rainbow.
Upon Sunday's field my own knight, Duke Sven, by right of arms, claimed the mantle of Kingdom Champion.
The Canton of Silverhart put together an excellent event with quite a bit of help from other Inlanders. Sir Jorg and Dame Abigail proved their peer-metal leading the staff to such a fine result. The only thing I would ask for different is for someone to have turned down the thermostat a notch or two.
I am sure that I have missed many other significant facts. But working with my limited attention span I am pleased to have been able to recount the afore. Please correct, add, and fill in the gaps. =)
