[Twnsqr] Need advice from a food Laurel (or anyone into period feasts)

Greetings,

 I am planning a feast incorporating documented recipes from the British Isles, specifically the Yorkshire Dales area circa 14th c. and I need to ping a couple ideas off of someone familiar with that time/place.

 My usual mentor is unavailable so if any feast junkies would like to discuss food to help me out I would be most appreciative!

Offlist is probably better.
