To the most excellent
Honorable Lord Fergus and Her Ladyship Renata, by the grace of the Sable
Lion Baron and Baroness of these fair lands of Wealdsmere, do I, the
Ladyship Halla Hrafnsdottir take upon me to be so bold as to write unto
you my desire and intent to fill a void in our requisite offices to thusly
maintain our status in the eyes of our King and Queen. 
And to the good populace,
I submit a simple and unassuming self, but one whose passion and love for
our fair pastime would greatly increase, yea to the point of rapture, in
being a liaison between the mundane world and our vivacious pursuits.
Being there so much about
our fair world that seems to the untrained eye confusing and perhaps
even comical, this humble person would delight in aiding those who
ask to understand our forms of address, our regalia, yea even our very
purpose towards educating the uneducated in all things medieval. 
My heart swells at the
thought of finding new friends for our glorious game, of assisting those
friends in finding their particular niche and pointing them on to those
more experienced than I, of relieving the awkwardness of not having
correct attire and helping them feel more welcome.
And I will be at all
seasons ready to perform in this matter and all others within the scope of
the chatelaine. I beseech you consider this bill and accept my worth that
I may serve purely at your pleasure until such time as you give me
leave.
In this and all things, I
remain at your service,
