Their Excellencies Baron Fergus and Baroness Renata have decided to step down after their 3 year tenure as Baron and Baroness of Wealdsmere.  The Barony of Wealdsmere will be conducting a polling for a new Baron and Baroness.  The parties who are interested will please submit their letter of intent to the Crown, the Baron and Baroness and the Seneschal of Wealdsmere so they may be published in our September Watch.
  We will have a question and answer period at Border War on September 22, 2007 for those of you who wish to get to know the candidates. All Candidates are asked to be present.  We are asking that you send your questions to the Baron and Baroness and the Seneschal of Wealdsmere.  We will pick all of the questions to be asked from these.
  Polling forms will be sent out on September 24, 2007. Please return said forms to Their Majesties no later than October 10, 2007.
  All paid members who reside within the Barony’s boundaries and the Canton of Silverhart will receive a polling form. All others who live outside Wealdsmere’s boundaries but still qualify for a ballot (Champions, Sergeants, Officers, Yeoman, Gallants, and Courtiers) must contact the Seneschal of Wealdsmere with proof of membership and mailing address no later than September 22, 2007. This can be done by e-mail or by the post office. Those who do not qualify for a ballot or do not meet the deadlines are encouraged to write your comments directly to Their Majesties.
