[Twnsqr] Scifi/Fan convention in Spokane

Hi Everybody,

Long time no see.  Randy and I have been crazy busy this summer.  One of the things that have been keeping us busy (besides half our relatives trying to expire at once) is that we have accepted the position of Guest Liason for the new scifi/fantasy convention scheduled to be held Aug 1,2,3 of 2008 on the Gonzaga U. campus.

I thought this might be a good opportunity for us to get involved in the wider community and do some recruiting for new members.  The place we are going to be doing the convention has incredible access to a large green with outdoor ampetheatre and lake.  It would be a wonderful place to have combat demos, dancing on the green and maybe a seige cooking competition?  I think it is something that we should be involved in.  Is anyone else with me in this?
