Greetings all! Below are the A&S happenings for the month of September. If
anyone has ideas for classes they would like to see happening on an Arts
Night, or if you've been working on a project and would like to teach others how
to do it, please drop me an email.
Sept 9 Bread Oven Workshop 9 am
Earth Ovens: A brief history and construction of a cob or clome oven
- facilitated by Lady Luella (formerly known as Ealusaid Mhaolain)
This is a hands-on workshop, come prepared to perform physical labor.
We will have a brief overview of Earth Ovens, their history and construction.
Then we will build a working wood fired, earth oven on Baroness Renata's
property.
It will be a fun project, but involves some serious hard labor. We will
construct
a sand form, mix mud and build an oven. The more hands and feet, the more
fun and
less labor per person. Wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty, wet and
muddy.
Gloves, especially rubber coated ones, are a good idea. Bring a folding
chair,
sack lunch and a potluck contribution for dinner. For more information,
please
call Abigail at 466-0332.
Sept 12 Dance practice 7 pm
For more information, please contact Dance Master HL Roland
at 999-2799. Site is the Mead Hall.
Sept 25 Dance practice 7 pm
Site will be the Coeur D'Alene Park, 4th and Chestnut, Spokane.
For more information, please call Dance Master HL Roland Carpenter
at 999-2799.
In Service,
THL Abigail the Mad, Courtier
Minister of Arts and Sciences
